Update

WOW!!! January was the last time I posted?!?!?! Well, SO much has changed since then!! We are now East Coast Residents!!! We moved here the middle of February into an amazing house built in 1765! I love it although it is a little large for me~ it takes forever to clean! :) Greg's Parents helped us make the 4 day trip from Johnstown, Colorado to North Berwick, Maine! We had a nice stop in Iowa to visit some cousins and spend Valentine's day with them. We finally arrived here at about 3 am one morning and well, these old houses don't have lights in them!!! I had to take my first tour of our new home by cell phone light!

Greg's parents stayed for about 2 weeks and helped us unpack and get a little aquainted with the area. My mom was able to fly out for Easter and spend Spring Break with us and help get the outside under control. We did a lot of landscaping! Jacob has enjoyed the yard and the large house, each room has two ways in so it makes for a great hiding house! We have been going to playgroup and recently met up with a MOPS group in Dover! We also joined the YMCA and were supposed to have our first swimming classes today ~Jacob with lessons and me with a water aerobics class~ but his allergies were acting up horribly so we stayed home and are praying that we can get back on track next week!

We are working on getting our garden established (we can finally have one and I think I might be making up for the years past when I didn't have one!) and getting everything ready for the growing season! I am going to try my hand at canning and hopefully can cut back on our grocery bill in the year to come! :)

I am looking forward to finding a home church, we have been to three so far, the last only once so still trying it out, and are hoping that we can stop "shopping"!!!

Buster is loving the yard and room as well. We have taken him to the beach a couple of times and he loves it! It is too bad that we can't take him in the summer due to all the tourists that come up from Boston...

We are getting a little nervous about what the summer will bring as everyone has told us how many tourists come here!!! Greg has already noticed a change in the traffic as he has to drive to New Hampshire (where the office is) and then sometimes to Mass (where the job sites are).

I am very excited for this weekend as my friend Sandy will be flying in to attend the CK convention with me!!! For those who don't know , it is a huge scrapbooking convention held all around the nation, and we just happen to have one 20 mins from our house!!!

We will be having a lot of visitors this summer!!! Greg's parents will be doing some training in New York for their return to China this July, so we are planing on meeting them in Niagra Falls. My mom, and Grandparents will also be visiting on their way home from Norway! It will be an exciting 4th of July in Boston! Sandy and her husband are coming up the end of July and then we will be traveling to Washington for the Lockwood Family Reunion at my mom's house the last week of July!!!

We are welcoming anyone who would love to visit this area to come up for a visit! It is absolutly beautiful and everything is starting to bloom!! If you want to visit, just give us a call! :) Well that is all for now, I have a lot of cleaning and some projects to work on today! Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe week!

Sick

This was a one armed Cowboy on top of a mule that was on the trailer with 2 buffalo! :) Really fun to watch! This is Jacob at the petting zoo in his cowboy hat! :) He loved the animals and his hat... He now has a pair of black and red cowboy boots to match!

Well, it seems that Jacob and I have come down with some horrible cold!!! His is coughing and running nose, mine is just head cold! Thankfully we are doing much better today after a long needed nap for both of us. During this time we have been staying at our house in Johnstown, which we have hopefully rented out!!! The new renters want to move in on the 1st, and that gives us one week from tomorrow to get everything packed up and out of here, and let Nancy (our wonderful neighbor and property manager) in to clean from head to toe!!! We have watched way too many movies, although I have drawn a line on how many times I have to watch Auto B Good before I get an adult movie in! :) We have loved Dr. Seuss, Veggie Tales, Surf's Up, and Happy Feet. I watched Julie and Julia today and was very inspired to try and cook some French food... well once we get into a house and unpacked!

Greg has fallen in love with the houses back east. And has I think, found us a home! We just have to get the application in and hopefully move forth from there. I think we are all getting tired of being apart!!! It will be so wonderful to get into a house again and have a routine and all of our things out of boxes! (I am just a little excited if you can't tell!!!)

Jacob is loving his time with his Mamas and Papas. He is being stubborn about listening, and I think part of it is that Daddy is gone, and well of course he doesnt' feel good, but still no excuses allowed here!

I have started to quilt!! Ok, well I have cut out a few pieces for a quilt, but nonetheless, I have all the materials for it, and have learned the basics for now... I still need to get a few supplies from Joann's (rulers, walking foot, ect...) But have learned that I have a wonderful sewing machine (Thank you so much Great Grandma!!!) and that it will be perfect for quilting! I spent a day with my mother-in-law and her good friend Ronalda Kraft (who is an AMAZING quilter) and made a really really really cute bag/purse!!! I still have two buttons to sew on, but other than that it is done!! Pictures to come later.

We enjoyed a day at the Denver Stock Show with Uncle Jim, Grandma and Grandpa Lockwood and even ran into Matt and Tammy Kaufman and the twins! Which was an amazing treat for Jacob since he has missed Matt very much!
