Not too much new...

Well there hasn't been too much new here. We are still at my grandparents house, and still looking for a job. There have been a few prospects, but we are still in the interview stage... that is they are interviewing Greg and he is interviewing them back. We want to make sure that what we find is a good fit for our family. We know there are going to be some major changes coming and are excited for this.

Our renters will be ending their lease early, so we are starting the renter finder stage again! And it really couldn't be at a worse time... They want to move out the end of the year, so hopefully we can find someone else to move in without any hiccups.

Jacob is enjoying his time with his Papa B and Mama (Greg's parents) up in the moutains! We left him there for a few days after attending a cousin's wedding in Denver on Sunday. We are looking forward to my Grandparent's coming home next week and are hoping to be able to spend a little time with them! :)

Well that is all on our front... Nothing to exciting to report! :) Hopefully next time I post we will be in a new location!

Happy Halloween!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Since August we have traveled up to Grand Junction for a week while Greg built a small garage. It was amazing! We were in Greeley for a little while, and then back to Colorado Springs. It was good to be in Greeley so we were able to spend some much needed time with our families, and finally meet Matt's twins: Olivia and Conor, they were only about 6 months old at the time!! Then once we traveled back to the Springs, Greg got some unfortunate news, the company was gonig into hibernation for a while, so both Greg and Jim got laid off. We decided that the best way to go about things was to come and stay at my grandparent's house in Wheatland. And we have been there ever since! It has been a great time for both Greg and Jim to take a much needed vacation.

We were able to travel down to Montgomery/Houston area for Tylah's wedding and spend a little time down there. On the way back we stopped at Uncle Dan's hunting ranch in northern Texas and Jim shot 2 deer. (Next time you talk to him ask him about the sizes!!! hehe) Anyways, It was wonderful to spend sometime with Aunt Joyce and Uncle Dan and see the ranch they have been talking about for the last year or so! It is quite beautiful and really a relaxing place to visit!

Greg made his first stained glass piece, and I think caught the bug! :)

We took Jacob trick or treating today. And he loved it! He realized all he had to do was ring a bell, say "trick or treat" and people gave him candy!!! :) He dressed up as daddy or Bob the builder or a construction worker... We went to the nursing home here in Wheatland and it was a lot of fun both for the kids and the residents. It is the only time they open the doors to kid all year. We haven't had the chance to carve our pumpkin, but will probably get to it tomorrow, just for the fun of it! :)

Greg is looking for a job pretty much anywhere right now. He still wants to travel and continue with iron-work. He truely loves what he does, and so as long as that continues, I think he will want to stay in that field.

Buster is loving the 40 acres to run and all the rabbits to chase. Jacob loves the space as well and is constantly running everywhere!

We will keep everyone posted on where we go from here and what our plans are for the near future. :) Love you all!

We're Back from China!!!

Hello all! We are finally back from China and settled in! We had such a great time! We got to see so much and do so many things, it was amazing!!! I will be posting some pictures later, I am just waiting on my father in law to upload them, short verson~ we lost our camera the first night there in a taxi and borrowed theirs! :)

We got back on Monday the 13th, and I had 11 loads of laundry to do!!! We also got a great surprise when we got home... Matt was back working with the company and staying with Uncle Jim! We got to see his babies yesterday through Skype, and they are growing like weeds!!

Jacob has had a really hard time sleeping through the night, he likes to come and wake up mommy and daddy at 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ect... :) It has been quite the challenge for us! He is growing like crazy and learning so much new things! He can now dress himself, put on pants, shirts, and pull ups or big boy pants!!! Oh and his frog boots! He is also enjoying fishing with daddy and mommy and has been going every weekend. We haven't really caught anything, but hopefully soon!!! Jacob loves to read and play with his choo choos!!! Oh and help mommy cook!!

We are enjoying being in Colorado City and so close to many nice outdoor activities! After being in China and riding bikes, we have decided to get a couple for us and ride around the area! :)

All better

So Jacob is all better!!! He is back to his normal terrible two self! I can not believe that he is actually going to be two in less than a month!!! I also can't believe that we are going to be in China for his birthday!

We have just been getting adjusted to Pueblo and Colorado City. I think I am going to start crochet lessons soon so that will be good and I can start making blankets, hats, ect! :) I am pretty excited about that. I am still working on getting the playgroup up and going, which is harder than I thought!!!

I have been trying some new reciepes, and loving all the cooking I am doing! I know have 6 people to cook for!! Greg has gotten some new guys in his crew, some new hires, some from the past who have quit and come back. One of the new guys brought his girlfriend, and thankfully she is really nice and fun to be with. Jacob adores her and is constantly flirting! :)

Greg is busy busy busy!! Work is good, but driving him nuts as always!

The weather has been getting nicer and nicer!! today it got up to 75ish, and was so nice to wear my flipflops! :)

We have realized how much we miss Great Grandma lately. But try to remember how much happier she is now in Heaven with Jesus!

We heard back from Brandon, who hates ship life! :) But thankfully he doesn't get seasick. (I was worried about that! Because I get so seasick!!!) He is doing well though so that is all that matters.

Well I better run, I have some cleaning and have to get laundry ready! :)

We did it!!!!

So we go home on Sunday to sign a lease with our future renters!!!! :) Praise God we found some!!! :) We will also be bringing our car, golf clubs, and other misc stuff we forgot, while also dropping off the excess stuff that I brought down! :) Which isn't as much as Greg would like, but still is a good amount of stuff!!!

Jacob is still pretty sick. We took him to the dr on Tuesday, and the dr said he had croup, which we completely disagreed with. Usually I don't do that but this dr was horrible!!! He was rough, rushed and just not very good. So, if he isn't better by Sunday, then we will be staying a night at home and going to his doctor back home.

Greg's job is very challenging for him. There have been a lot of problems. But maybe it will get better as time goes.

I have been cooking up a storm, trying new reciepes and have a lot of fun! :) I also got the chance to get some blankets made for our troops. It was nice to relax for a while.

Well... I better run for now... It is late, all my boys are sleeping and I have to get ready for bed as well! :)

Happy Valentine's Day

Hello all! We wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day!

So let's see, what has happened recently? Well Jacob continues to be a two year old boy, always into trouble and getting dirty! :) He is currently fighting a little cold, so hopefully Daddy and I will stay healthy! Jacob loves looking for rabbits at the park and walking Buster. I have been working on getting the playgroup here in Pueblo back up and active again. We have our first playgroup next Wednesday, so I really am praying that we meet some good friends!

I have almost completely gotten the camper back to "home" status. The only part I have yet to organize is the office/Jacob's room.

I am loving being able to cook dinner and goodies again. For a long time at home all our pans/food were packed away. So now that I have everything unpacked, I am cooking up a storm! Luckily for me I have about 11 guys that I can take all the goodies too!

Greg's job is going well. He has a great crew that all work really hard. They had some hiccups yesterday, but I think they will all bounce back and have a great job.

I am excited for getting everything cleaned up so I can start making my blankets for the troops again and start scrapbooking! :)

We are getting ready for our trip to China!!! We leave March 30th and will be gone for two weeks. It will be great to see Greg's parents, and share China with my mom and family!! We will be going to the Great Wall, the Teracotta (spelling?) Soldiers, shopping in Beijing!! and so much more! :)

Getting Settled

So we are finally in Colorado City. Greg came down last week, then home for the weekend to finish packing up the furniture. We had a little delay on getting down here Sunday. Our neighbors had to take their cat to the vet, and being the first pet the girls have lost, they wanted to take the older two to say goodbye. We watched Emmy, Jacob's crush, while they took care of everything. It was good for them not to have to worry about Emmy, who is almost 3, while taking care of the emotional needs of the other two.

We finally made it down here around 7, and got some things put away, but I have been doing most of the unpacking while Greg is working. Jacob is getting used to the camper again, and all the different rules! Buster seems to adjust easily, so that is good. The internet is touchy, but other than that, there is a great park, pool, hot tub, laundry, work out room, and doggie run right here in the park.

I am working with another mom to get the playgroup up and running again, I guess it was active for a while, but then died off. So hopefully we can get that going soon.

We will be heading home this weekend to paint the inside of the house, but then will say goodbye! Next week we will be looking for a church down here.

Well I better run and finish unpacking, get some laundry done, and maybe if I am lucky a shower!!! :) hehe!!!

The Last Weekend...

So I am still in Johnstown with Jacob, however, Greg is coming home tonight and then we are going to be moving all furniture and such into the one car garage that we have blocked off from the other two spots! Then we are leaving here for GOOD on Sunday!!! Of course being in Pueblo we can come back up here on weekends, but it is still going to be empty!!! :( It is a little sad, but I am also excited to get down to Pueblo with Greg and get settled in the 5th wheel! We found a really nice place in Colorado City, about 30 mins south of Pueblo so that will help. There are great views and lots of wildlife... They even mentioned a bear that comes around once in a

while! :) Fun!

Jacob is still being a handful, and he is even worse when daddy is gone, so I am very thankful that Greg is coming home tonight.

We still haven't found renters, or sold our car. But I think I will be ok with keeping the car since we are such a large distance from Pueblo, at least then I can take the car and use it to do my grocery shopping and play dates and hopefully save some $$. I have a lady to come look at the house this weekend. So please pray that it works out.

I think that is all for now... I better get some more things done, like maybe the laundry!! :)

Welcome

Hello all! Since our family website has been taken over by the entire family! We have decided on just having a blog for our mini family so you all may track our travels!

Right now we are packing up the house to be out of here by Saturday! We haven't found any renters, but know that in the end God will provide for us and it will all work out! Greg is off work today due to the freezing weather! :) This is such a blessing as I am able to have him help me get some erronds done and drive me around the snowy roads.

Jacob is getting into trouble as always, he loves being outdoors, which has resulted us in deadbolting all of our outside doors! He likes to sneak out and go next door to the neighbor's house and visit his friend Emmy! :) Trouble already ! And he isn't even two yet! YIKES!

Well, we will be leaving this weekend for Pueblo, Colorado, so pleae pray that the weather is warmer down there for us! :) hehe. I am tired of the cold and really miss El Paso right now!
