About the book:

 Patti Lacy graduated from Baylor University with a BS in education and completed master's-level courses in English at Indiana State University. She taught at Heartland Community College until May 2006, when she resigned to pursue her passion of writing. The author of three previous novels, Patti is the mother of two grown children and lives with her husband in Normal, Illinois.

 My Review:
This is my first book from Patti Lacy, honestly I hadn't heard of her until I received this book.  But she is now going to be on my favorite authors list!  I find God's timing on things very interesting sometimes...  This is one of two book about adopting from China I have received in a two week period... (I mentioned this to my husband and he said to slow down!!!)

Ok back to the book...  An amazing story about a Chinese woman fulfilling her mother's last wish to reunite her 3 daughters with their younger sister who was adopted by an American family.  Although she finds her younger sister, God has much more in plan for her in order to bring Kai (the older sister) to Himself.  It was good to see into the religious thinking of a Chinese, and how they try to "woo" the fates and the struggle Kai had with "the Christian God". 

I would definitely recommend this book to friends and family!  It is a wonderful novel that sheds light to the birth family's search for a lost sibling, and the struggles the adoptive parents have if they are reunited!
